NYE Make Up Look

Hello everyone!

Hope this year has been amazing for you and your upcoming year is even better, it's so hard to believe 2015 is almost over!

I've done this look for one of my blog posts and thought this would be a perfect look for New Year's Eve, it's very cool toned and a really easy smoky eye.

I have combination skin so I always use primer in my T-zone when I want my make up to last all day and the Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector is perfect for that, half way through the day and my face still stays oil free and make up stays in place. Regardless of my combination skin I still love having the strobed and dewy look, so always on the hunt for a good dewy foundation and I love the Loreal Lumi foundation (my shade is n1-2) to achieve that. I have major dark circles so I always use my MAC Studio Conceal and Correct in mid peach under my eyes before applying the UD Naked serum concealer (light neutral) on top. I buff in all of the skin products using my beauty blender, I have stopped using brushes for my skin, I love the seamless finish I get with the beauty blender. To keep my skin looking dewy I just apply powder on my under eyes and my t-zone to lock in the foundation and concealer.
I barely ever contour my face but go heavy with the blush and highlight, for blush I love Tarte, it stays on all day and the color is a very pretty neutral pink that goes with every look. On to highlight, I love layering a powder highlight on top of a cream highlight so I love doing that on days when I really want my highlight to pop. I use the liquid version of Becca Opal on the high points of my face and then apply the powder version. I love the strobed look this highlight gives to my make up look.

I already have thick eyebrows but to fill in some of the sparse areas I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in dark brown. On to the eyes, for all the eye shadows I used the Naked Smoky Palette, I love this palette and the packaging is sleek and pretty. In order for the eye make up to stay on all night especially such a dramatic look I use my too faced shadow insurance, apply it all over the lid and then took the 'combust' shadow applied it over the primer to lock it in. I then go in with the shade 'whiskey' and 'password' in my crease and used 'combust' as a transition shade to help them blend more seamlessly. Then to make the shadow pop more I applied the L'oreal silkissime black eyeliner all over my lid, it's a very creamy eye pencil so it's perfect as a base and then applied the shade 'Armor' all over the lid. I then went in with the shade smolder in my outer V to create more dimension to the eye look. I used the shade password on my lower lash line and then smolder in the outer edge to give a more smoky effect. I used Becca Opal to highlight my brow bone and my inner corner. I also use the L'oreal silkissime liner to tight-line my upper lash line and apply the Kiko nude liner in my water line, both these steps make your eyes look bigger and defined. I definitely wanted to go all out with this look and wanted to do lots of mascara and a winged liner. I used my favorite Kat Von D Trooper liquid liner to create the wing, I love this liner it makes it so easy to create a wing and stays on all day long. I got the chance to try the new Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Masacara and I love it! If you like very voluminous lashes, then this is definitely a winner. Although, it can get clumpy if you use too much so use it sparingly. Personally I love that full lash effect so I didn't mind and applied it to my lashes after curling them.

For the lips I have two options, I originally wore a neutral lip gloss from Julep in the shade 'Charming' but then since the look is so cool toned I thought 'Lolita' from Kat Von D would look perfect with it, I have pictures with both lip options on below. To finish everything I always dose my face in Urban Decay All Nighter spray.

Hope you guys liked this make up look and get some inspiration for NYE or any event coming up and have a great and safe New Year's Eve and Happy New Year! Thank you for always checking out my posts and all the sweet comments on Instagram.

Let me know what your New Year resolutions are for the upcoming year in the comments.

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all doing well! Can you believe it's almost the end of the year?! I find it hard to grasp the fact that I started this blog almost a year ago too! Thank you for sticking with me and reading and viewing my posts, it's always appreciated :)

Olivia Palermo is one of my biggest fashion inspirations, her style is so feminine and elegant but at the same time slightly edgy. I fell in love with the color block cape look she wore last fall so when I spotted this cape at forever 21 I had to get it, I loved the autumnal colors and how cozy it was. I decided to style it with a cream colored mock neck dress and knee high lace up boots, basically throw in all the fall 2015 trends in one outfit. Best part about the cape, it hides your food baby so perfect to wear to lunch :p

Hope you guys like how I styled the cape/poncho/shawl. Thank you again for sticking with me for the past year! Let me know what else you would like to see on my blog, I've been thinking about doing some DIY, recipes, travel tips and more beauty stuff!

Crushing on Gray

Hello everyone!

Recently I've been obsessed with the color gray, every time I go shopping I promise myself I'll look for more colors to add to my wardrobe but always end up with something in black no matter how hard I try so venturing slightly out of my comfort zone, I've been buying a lot more gray. I was lucky enough to be sent this stunning statement necklace from Happiness Boutique and I couldn't wait to style it however, I felt like this necklace would look better with summer maxi dresses. While shopping at forever 21 I spotted this split front gray maxi and thought it would look perfect with the necklace, added a leather jacket and gray booties and ended up with a perfect dressy fall outfit.

I thought this look would be perfect for a night out so I paired it with a gray smoky eye look and my favorite fall lipstick at the moment-Kat Von D Lolita.

I was very impressed by how fast the necklace was shipped to me considering they are based out of Germany and the quality is amazing, the detail on this necklace is stunning! One of my all time favorite statement necklaces in my collection now. Hope you guys like how I styled it!

Leave me suggestions below on different ways to style this necklace!

Pinafores and Stripes

Hello everyone!

The majority of my blog posts are usually very affordable trendy clothing items and my favorite to shop from for these fashion posts is forever 21. So here is another one of those budget friendly posts, the whole outfit is forever 21 except for the booties, also affordable from Shoedazzle. I was just browsing through the sale section on www.forever21.com and I spotted this overall maxi dress, I wasn't sure about it at first but then I thought I could try the whole overall trend this way without fully committing to it. Mock neck tops are really in this fall as well and I thought it would pair well with the overall dress and of course I had to add a hat to complete the look.

Hope you guys enjoyed the post and got some fall outfit inspiration!
